Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the course, students will be able to:

• describe basic definitions of chronic diseases and disability

• acknowledge aspects of nursing care for chronic patients, as well as appropriate
rehabilitation infrastructure and equipment

• apply interventions that contribute to chronic patients’ functionality restoration

• support psychologically patients in a rehabilitation process

• provide appropriate education to informal carers of chronic patients
