Upon completing the course, students will be able to:
• become familiar with the subject and basic concepts of Economics, as well as with philishophiceconomic principles of Health Systems,
• identify theories, concepts, specialties and laws related to healthcare supply-demand, criteria for
distributing the commodity “health” among individuals and groups, as well as the basic principles
of evaluating Health Services,
• understand the ways the economic crisis has the potential to negatively affect sanitary parameters and contribute to morbidity increase
