Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the course, students will be able to:
• become familiar with the principles of pre-hospital wound care, techniques of
airway, oxygenation and bleeding, as well as with the management of cardiopulmonary
resuscitation
• identify and evaluate types of musculoskeletal injuries, poisoning, asphyxia or dyspnea,
electrocution, hypothermia and hyperthermia
• develop skills necessary in dealing with mass disasters
• become familiar with the use of bandages for wound care
