Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the course, students will be able to:
• evaluate information about patient health status and become familiar with principles and
planning of individualized preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative monitoring and care
• become familiar with basic operating room principles and comprehend the use of equipment,
anesthetic drugs and surgical materials
• develop and demontrate skills of managing information and identifying risks for patients, aiming
at promoting their safety and quality of care
• develop interpersonal skills of cooperation, coordination and active participation in the
interdisciplinary therapeutic team
